STRUCTURED GEL
Structured gel is maintained as your natural nails grow. If your current structured-gel service was done at SR Studio, book a maintenance appointment for your next visit.
GEL-X
Gel-X is not filled or refreshed at SR Studio. Each visit starts with a new Gel-X set so you can choose your new length, shape, color and design.
Book your new Gel-X set in the length you want: Short, Medium, Long or XL.
Add Gel-X Removal — With New Set during booking if you're currently wearing Gel-X applied by SR Studio.
Add your nail-art level if you'd like French, chrome, cat-eye, hand-painted art, charms or other custom details.
SR STUDIO GEL REMOVAL WITH SERVICE
If you're currently wearing gel applied at SR Studio and need it removed as part of your next nail appointment, add the removal option when booking your new service.

A few things to know before booking your nail appointment at SR Studio in Boonsboro.
What's the difference between a gel manicure and structured gel?
A gel manicure adds long-lasting gel color to your natural nails. Structured gel adds additional strength and support over the natural nail while allowing you to keep your natural length. If your goal is extra structure rather than added length, structured gel may be the better choice.
What's the difference between structured gel and Gel-X?
Structured gel is applied over your natural nails to add strength and structure without adding extension length. Gel-X uses full-cover gel extensions when you want to add length and change the shape of your nails.
Do you fill Gel-X extensions?
No. At SR Studio, Gel-X is removed and replaced with a new set rather than filled. Returning Gel-X clients should book their new Gel-X set and add the Gel-X removal option when booking if they're currently wearing a set applied by us.
How do I book nail art?
Start by booking your base nail service. During booking, select the nail-art add-on that most closely matches the amount of detail you want. Reserving your nail art in advance gives your artist the appropriate amount of time for your design.
Can I bring an inspiration photo?
Absolutely. Inspiration photos are a great starting point. Your nail artist can use them to understand the colors, shape, details and overall style you love, then customize the finished set for you.
What if I already have product from another nail salon?
Please contact SR Studio before booking if you're currently wearing gel, extensions or another enhancement applied somewhere else. This helps us determine what is on your nails, whether removal is needed and how much appointment time should be reserved.
What should I do if I need a nail repair?
Contact us before booking so we can determine what needs to be repaired and make sure the correct amount of time is added to your appointment.
Do you offer acrylic, dip powder or pedicures?
We do not currently offer acrylic, dip powder or pedicure services. Our nail menu focuses on natural nail manicures, gel polish, structured gel, Gel-X extensions and custom nail art.
Where are nail services located inside SR Studio?
Our nail services are located upstairs inside SR Studio. The upstairs area is not wheelchair accessible. If you have accessibility needs or questions before booking, please contact us at 301-573-3861.
