Which facial should I book for my first visit?
If you want help with specific concerns or aren’t sure what your skin needs, choose Shelby’s New Client Custom Facial. If your primary goal is relaxation and skin maintenance, choose one of Makayla’s 60-minute facials.
Can extractions be included?
Shelby can perform extractions when appropriate for your skin and the facial being provided. They aren’t automatically needed or recommended for every client.
What is the difference between dermaplaning and microdermabrasion?
Dermaplaning gently removes surface buildup and fine facial hair with a professional blade. Microdermabrasion uses controlled physical exfoliation to refresh dull or uneven texture. Shelby can help determine which option is more appropriate for your skin.
Can I receive a facial if my skin is sensitive?
Many facials can be adjusted for sensitive skin. Please share any allergies, sensitivities, medications or recent skin treatments before your appointment.
How should I prepare for my facial?
Avoid aggressive exfoliation, picking and new active products immediately before your appointment. Let your esthetician know about recent waxing, peels, cosmetic procedures or prescription skincare.
Where are facial and head-spa services performed?
All facial and head-spa treatment rooms are located upstairs in our boutique studio.
