Senior Portraits with Harley

Harley will be graduating with Boonsboro High Senior Class of 2019!

Recently, at SR Studio (located in Boonsboro, Maryland), we did a senior photo shoot with beautiful Harley. This year we decided to step outside the box a little and give our seniors something a little different then the traditional senior pictures. We take one portion of your senior shoot and go over the top to give you something fun and different! While we still do those traditional shots we love dreamy fun feel we get when we take a shoot and make it our own!

We had planned this shoot for months and scored this beautiful gown from Potomac Bridals. Breia created a gorgeous flower crown head piece as well to match the dress and the day of the shoot did Harley’s hair and makeup.

Next came the scouting of the location: We found the most perfect property that had gorgeous peach blossoms and a gorgeous view of the sunset. We were so excited for the amazing pictures we were gonna get.

After all of our planning and designing for this shoot, mother nature stepped in and had very different plans for us. It was April, all day their was possibilities of thunderstorms. We had till 1pm that day to make a call and we decided to try and stick it out. The blossoms had been in bloom for over a week. We knew this was our one and only shot to get what we had planned in the peach blossom orchard.

Stylized Senior Portraits

These beautiful pictures were taken in a peach blossom orchard with a dress from the studio’s wardrobe collection, we luckily had a back up plan and we got some fun and different even though we never got to use the beautiful dress from Potomac Bridals outside. The rain resulted in the following:

Unfortunately, because of the rain, we weren’t able to take these outside but we did get this gorgeous photo. Here is the same dreamy photo cropped three ways giving them each a different vibe.

Part 2 of Harley’s Senior Session

A few weeks later we had the second part of Harley’s session. Harley came in the studio again for hair and makeup, but this time she brought some of her favorite things and outfits to make the photoshoot more personable to her.

After looking at her outfits we instantly thought this dress would be perfect at the beautiful wild flower field. . . After all, is it really a photo shoot if there weren’t pictures in a flower field?

Along with the full senior senior portrait package came a portion taken that focus on Harley’s interests. Bowling and twirling uniforms took the forefront in these pictures, however, all sports or interests could be represented for other seniors.

Traditional Senior Portraits

For this part, Harley chose what she wore and felt best in. These pictures portray Harley in a sort of “everyday” way while still beautifying her above the “going to school look”. Some were taken along Main Street Boonsboro and around town.

 

In a separate location, we all went to Green Hill Farms in Sharpsburg, MD. Again, Harley got to pick her clothing which created the beautiful picture that follow:

And, finally, come the prom pictures. Sure, senior portraits are great but the biggest event in high school deserves a little documentation too. The biggest night of every school year is prom so there has to be something to remember it by so what’s better than a couple photos in your gorgeous gown!
